Carmello loves indies localization grant
We’ve worked tirelessly to connect developers and publishers to their global audiences through exceptional localization services for decades.
This year, we are delighted to offer a localization grant to assist indie developers in getting their games into the hands of players around the world.
We’ll be awarding one indie developer with a localization grant of £5000 (USD $5000 / EUR €5000 / JPY ¥1,000,000), delivered as services. Please find the grant submission form below.

October 6th – December 7th 2025
The grant winner will be notified by email in early January 2026 and will be selected from the pool of applicants by our panel of judges. We wish all applicants the best of luck!
The grant winner will be announced over social media (LinkedIn), and will be covered in a case study once their game has been released. We will not require the developer to publicize any game specifics such as title or vertical slices ahead of release as part of the social media coverage.
Terms and conditions
Please contact us if any changes arise during development. If the applicant’s team leader withdraws or is no longer reachable, we will consider the grant null and void. The grant value is to be delivered as translation services.
The grant will be selected from the pool of applicants by our panel of judges. The winning applicant will be notified via email in early January 2026. The winner will then be announced over social media. The announcement will include the studio / developer name. Specific project names will not be revealed unless explicitly agreed upon by both parties.
The winner will also be required to contribute to a case study with Alpha Games upon game release. This case study can then be included in our marketing collateral over social media or in our portfolio.
We understand the complexities of game development. As such, please rest assured that we will not share any game specifics, including title, gameplay or content, before game release, unless explicitly agreed upon by both parties.
